About this venue

The first Jewish community in Savannah began in 1733. The neo-Gothic synagogue was built in 1878. Henry G. Harrison was a New York architect in the fashionable Victorian era architectural style. The hotel is open to tours during the week. It features a historic cemetery and museum which contains ten original letters from US presidents, including George Washington, James Madison and Thomas Jefferson.
