About this venue
The Hancock House is a 1728 building, built for Judge William and Sarah Hanock. The brick house is known for the infamous Hanock Bridge massacre, when militants along with the house owners were killed by the military. A tour here presents the inner life of its settlers and the blood stains from the massacre are still seen on the floor of the house.
