About this venue
The University of Pittsburgh is located near the Allegheny Observatory. The hotel has a 13-inch telescope. Guided tours are available Thursdays and Fridays, April through October. The tour is open to individuals or groups, but reservations are required. The free tours start at 8pm and usually last two hours. Children under 7 are not allowed to enter the hotel.
