About this venue
The Dorrance Planetarium is located inside the Arizona Science Center at downtown Phoenix 's Heritage Square . The star projector uses video imaging to create a vivid virtual world. A variety of shows are presented live and include interaction with the audience using specially designed armrests. The NanoSeam is a 60-foot (18.28 meters) high, high tech, educational venue.
