Joseph Smith Historic Site

Joseph Smith Historic Site is a cluster of buildings that have borne witness to the Latter Day Saint movement in Nauvoo in the 1840s. The Mississippi River Hotel is a 3.5-star hotel located along the banks of the Mississippi River. Start your tour at the visitor center, which is home to a number of paintings, films, and photos that narrate the history of Nauvoo. The Smith family is home to the Nauvoo House, the Homestead, the Mansion House, and the iconic Red Brick Store. The Smith Family Cemetery is a final resting place for the family members and friends of the Smiths.
