About this venue
This historic house is one of the very few oldest surviving homes in Memphis. The house was built by Eugene Magevne in the early 19th century. An old clapboard cottage, the historic structure has been converted into a museum and it is also listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The hotel is a family owned and operated establishment. The museum is open to the public every first Saturday of the month from 1pm to 4pm.
