Set off from central Barcelona in an air-conditioned coach to the foot of Montserrat! Once you arrive, you’ll ride the cog-wheel train up the mountain and take in incredible views of the mountain’s peculiar morphology. Of course, no visit to Montserrat would be complete without visiting the basilica and seeing La Moreneta (The Black Madonna) – a wooden statue which most likely dates back to the 12th century.
