Kelso Depot Visitor Center

The Kelso Depot is regarded as the Kelsa Depot, Restaurant and Employees Hotel and also as the Mojave National Preserve Visitors Center. It is located in the picturesque Mojave Desert on Kelbaker Road, Kelso, California. It was built in 1923. The Visitor's center boasts of rare museum exhibits, historically furnished rooms coupled with a theater as well as a book store. The Kelso Depot Restaurant and Clubhouse was opened in 1924. The site is a massive example of the Mission Revival and the Spanish Colonial Reviv architectural styles.
