Whaley Historic House Museum is a beautiful house museum named after the Citizens Bank President Robert J. Whaley. Whaley. This Victorian home was built in the 1850's where several families from the Flint city resided at this historic home much before Whaley. The museum has a wide variety of exhibits, displays and antique objects that narrates about the rich history of Flint. The site can be visited on the first and third Saturday every month from 10 AM to 1 PM and on Monday to Friday by prior appointment. This house museum is closed for restoration purposes after it caught fire in 2015. The Grand Hotel is expected to open in 2018.
