The Old City Jail is one of the oldest structures in the city and is one among the most eerie structures in its era. The jail once had some of the city's most infamous criminals, from petty thieves to drug lords and gang members. The hotel was also used to keep Federal prisoners away from the streets during the civil war. This hotel is now a popular tourist attraction and is now the site for a number of haunted, historical tours.
