Bassins des Lumières: Matisse & Frida Kahlo Exhibition

The Bassins des Lumières are aimed at all audiences, with immersive digital exhibitions that will seduce young and old, art lovers and novices alike, thanks to architectural projections that appeal to the senses and emotions.

Located in Bordeaux’s impressive submarine base, originally built by the Germans during World War II, the site has been transformed by Culturespaces into France’s largest digital art centre, offering spectacular exhibitions in a truly unique setting.

It's a superb one-hour stroll through paintings by great masters of art history. The visit is not guided; however, a soundtrack accompanies you all along the route and allows you to immerse yourself even more intensely in the works.

It's an escape at your own pace that will amaze you!
