Los Angeles-based rapper TRUTHLiVE is an underground artist who is building upon the recent history of so-called backpack rappers. TRUTHLiVE raps frequently about positivity, love and politics, all subjects that get play in the backpack rap scene. Beats are generally soulful in nature, using sped up soul singer samples and soul horns and drums. TRUTHLiVE's debut album is titled Patience.
