Montreal band Uncle Bad Touch has been taking cues from American folk and garage rock, as their sound is distinctly of this rich tradition. The band also draws on some of the heavier sounds that rock has birthed over the years, including the better metal bands to have made an impact. Uncle Bad Touch's self-titled debut LP came out in early 2011.
