When the Los Angeles bands Puppy Dog and Press Fire dissolved, the remaining members merged into the four-piece Batwings Catwings. Creating scuzzy garage punk anthems that cement riot grrrl vocals to spastic guitar riffs, the group's sound isn't easily digestible. However, since forming in 2009, Batwings Catwings has won over a slowly growing fan base that enjoys the band's chaotic live show.
