Franki Chan came to the world of DJ'ing initially through the punk rock community. In the late 1990s, Chan would throw underground punk shows, where he'd spin records after the bands finished playing. He eventually evolved into one of the foremost underground DJs in the world. Outside the times when Chan is manning the decks, he is an event promoter and runs the IHEARTCOMIX record label.
