Sek Loso, born Seksan Sukpimai on August 7, 1974, in Thailand, is a renowned musician, singer-songwriter, and former lead singer and guitarist of the Thai rock band Loso. Coming from a humble rice-farming background, Sek moved to Bangkok at the age of 12, working various jobs before pursuing music. His career took off after performing at Bangkok's Austin Pub, where he quickly gained attention for his covers of Thai rock and international hits. Loso, formed in the mid-1990s, became one of Thailand's most successful rock bands with albums like Lo Society and Losoland. Sek later embarked on a solo career, releasing albums like 7 August, Black & White, and I'm Back. His career has been marked by both musical success and personal controversies, including a conviction for assault in 2016. Despite challenges, Sek remains a key figure in Thai rock, known for his raw sound and passionate performances.
