Growing up in suburban Georgia, Eden Rice and Kemp Muhl were best friends virtually since birth. One, a classically trained chorale singer, and the other, a talented guitarist, both wrote songs as teenagers but never did anything with them. After some years spent growing-up apart, the team ultimately reunited to finally record the songs they wrote as adolescents. Fortunately, the songs still hold up. Kemp and Eden make beautiful and graceful music that's full of immaculately pastoral harmonies, finger-picked guitars, and gentle piano lines.
