Best known as the guitarist for the alt-country band My Morning Jacket, Carl Broemel's joining of the group in 2004 was the catalyst for its sound becoming wildly more experimental. He was a highly sought-after guitarist during much of the early 2000s and his solo work reels in a bit of the sonic experimentation of his main gig. Instead, Broemel's side-project is pleasantly easygoing country-folk infused with some of Nashville's warmest textures.
