Comprised of Jay Rock, Kendrick Lamar, Ab-Soul and Schoolboy Q, Black Hippy is a consolidation of the rappers in L.A's Top Dawg Entertainment crew. The group has an easygoing natural chemistry that comes from years of dropping guest verses on each others' tracks. However, each of the artists involved has a wildly different vocal delivery, which keeps Black Hippy's songs sounding like chaotic verbal ping-pong matches between groups of talented emcees.
