The Houston duo of singer/pianist Bett Butler and bassist Joel Dilley know their way around a jazz tune or two. After graduating from college, Butler immersed herself in the world of theater as a writer/actor/musical director/composer/accompanist until deciding she wanted to solely focus on playing music. While on the club circuit, she met--and later married--Dilley. Together, they put their own twist on the traditional jazz formula by making sure every song they play, no matter the style, is a story worth telling.
