69 Nombres

Formed in the late 1990s, 69 Nombres is a Colombian band that has remained a fixture in its native country's rock n' roll scene since its inception. The band originally formed with an interest in creating grunge-influenced songs, but has recently shifted to a more broad, indie rock-tinged sound that has led it to the opportunity to record with famed producer, Phil Vinall, who has previously worked with notable names such as Pulp, Placebo, Snow Patrol and Radiohead. Using sharp guitars, bluesy stoner-rock grooves and a hint of post-punk energy, 69 Nombres creates music that, with the right exposure, would resonate very well outside of Colombia's borders.
