The enigmatic Albert Elmore, who simply goes by Albert, is an avant-garge electronic music composer from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Albert's non-linear, done-heavy, synth-based songs ebb and flow in a way that's hallucinatory without being especially confrontational or off-putting. Often performing under a variety of aliases, like Jon Jacob 3, Never Say DJ Fred Equipment or James St. Murder Laden Mitten Wonder, Albert is the founder of Bootlegs by People Who Care and the Center for Experimentally Advanced Recordings and Research.
