Brass Bed is a four-piece indie pop band with heavy powerpop and classic rock tendencies. Based out of Lafayette, Louisiana, the group creates sunny, harmony-rich songs that never skimp on fresh vocal hooks and tasteful, classic musical arrangements. Inspiration from country-leaning classic rock groups such as The Band, as well as modern revivalists of that era, such as Dr. Dog, are evident in Brass Bed's tunes, which combine those vintage styles with a modern indie pop sensibility. On record, the band is intricate and sparse compared to the more rock-oriented approach of its live show, both of which illuminate the talents of a group that is as comfortable in the quiet moments as it is in the loud.
