Demrick Ferm is a Los Angeles-based rapper who operates under the name Young De. Smooth, laid-back West Coast hip-hop is Ferm's forte, and his mixtapes have garnered enough attention to yield collaborations with Royce Da 5'9 and B-Real of Cypress Hill fame. His debut mixtape, Audio Hustlaz Vol. 1, was an underground rap hit and helped Ferm gain massive exposure by being asked to open for the likes of Too $hort, Ice Cube and E-40 on various dates around the West Coast. In 2009, he joined forces with B-Real and Xzibit, creating a rap super group known as Serial Killaz.
