Gay Sportscasters is a punk-tinged rock and roll outfit from Austin, Texas that is starting to receive some serious attention. After a short stint of heavy performing after being highlighted in an article by Rolling Stone, the band actually chose to break up for a while, only to reform in 2009 after things cooled down. Now that the band has achieved a level of comfort with its performance schedules in and around Texas, the Gay Sportscasters septet has decided to bring the all-girl dance troupe "The Lollygaggers" into its act--a decision that just may end up bringing the band back to the precipice of national attention.
