About
Something of a 1990's alt-rock super group, Sweet Apple was formed by Dinosaur Jr. guitarist J Mascis and two former members of glam-rock band Cobra Verde. The band's sound is certainly of a 1990's alt-rock and grunge aesthetic, although the group tends to look back at 1970's rock music more than the decade their music was born in. The group's debut album Love and Desperation came out in April of 2010.
