DJ Wade-O

As host of the New Jersey-based radio program, "The Wade-O Radio Show," DJ Wade-O attempts to combine genres like reggae, electronica and hip-hop together with spiritual messages pertaining to his Christian faith. He began DJing while attending college at Howard University, playing popular rap and dance songs of the time. As religion started to become more and more a part of his life, however, DJ Wade-O decided to become a minister of sorts, spreading his messages through contemporary styles that are far removed from the image people traditionally have of gospel or Christian music.
