Contemporary R&B artist Dallas Blocker began his singing career as a boy, performing at his father's church in Houston at just seven years-old. As he got older, however, he developed a love for hip-hop and smooth R&B, both of which would influence the music he's now making as a solo artist. Blocker specializes in 1990s-style slow jams, made modern with some auto-tuned vocal work and contemporary R&B touches. His ascent in the Texas music world has afforded him opportunities to work with some of the state's bigger hip-hop and R&B names, including Paul Wall, Slim Thug, Lil Flip and Mike Jones.
