PiPES

About

PiPES is a hip-hop project based out of Beverly Hills. The duo create beats with a seemingly broad list of influences, from club music, to trance and dubstep. Vocally, PiPES seems to favor a rapid-fire, eccentric flow akin to that of Outkast's Andre 3000, while the lyrics often revolve around basic themes such as partying, drinking and dancing. With currently only a few demos to its name, it's tough to know how PiPES will evolve as it continues on. However, the duo is working hard to get its name out there, performing regularly and landing a spot at the annual music festival South By Southwest.
