About
Producer/DJ AC Slater met emcee Dell "o8o" Harris at a party in Atlanta in early 2010 and somehow wound up collaborating on a segment for BBC Radio 1. The collaboration--which blended alternative hip hop beats, autotuned R&B vocals and indie rock samples from bands like Bloc Party--was a hit in the UK and thus the duo officially became AC and Dell. Spending equal amounts of time in Atlanta and New York, the duo plays club nights and parties on a regular basis, drawing in a diverse group of fans, and released its debut album at the end of 2010.
