Led by singer-songwriter Charly Coombes, UK band Charly Coombes & The New Breed claim to have "one finger in a warm 60s soul pie." Other than the 60s soul the band is attempting to re-create, they also play a no-brainer style of rock & roll that isn't necessarily trying to do anything earth-shatteringly new. The band plans to release their first album in 2011 after a series of EPs.
