Based on a real-life event in the life of famed film actress Tallulah Bankhead, Looped takes place in the summer of 1965 when Bankhead arrived at a sound recording studio to redub a line of dialog for her final film. When the actress arrives at the studio obviously intoxicated, she is unable to deliver the single line and pandemonium ensues between her and her affronted manager. The comedy features razor-sharp, witty dialog as the characters struggle through an eight hour recording session. Looped premiered on Broadway in 2010 to critical acclaim for its unforgettable portrayal of the iconic actress.
