Ya Ya Boom

Forged in the deserts of New Mexico in 2005, Ya Ya Boom is a quartet of Albuquerque natives. Wearing its influences on its sleeve and not afraid to stitch them together, the band blends grungy guitars, riot grrl vocals, post punk distortion and the occasional twangy indie pop hook into some type of post-grunge amalgamation. The mashup of genres has gone over well with crowds in the band's native state who have eaten up every album the band has released and frequented its live shows.
