Mainfelt is a folk-rock band from the South Tyrol region of Italy. Its members - guitarist Patrick Strobl, banjo player Kevin Prantl and bassist Veit Rinner, had always been into music, but only decided to form a band after winning the International Live Award in 2010. Percussionist and background vocalist Stephanie Blaas was soon after inducted into the band. Mainfelt took to performing on local and international stages in countries like Austria and Switzerland. Its veracious lyrics, soothing tunes and accompanying rhythm patterns helped the band build a fan following across the Atlantic.
