Dead Poet Society is an American rock band formed in 2013 in Boston, Massachusetts, by Berklee College of Music students Jack Underkofler (vocals, guitar), Jack Collins (guitar), Nick Taylor (bass), and Will Goodroad (drums). Dylan Brenner replaced Nick Taylor on bass in 2019. Known for their "heavy indie rock" and "djent pop" sound, the band combines down-tuned guitar riffs with soft, melodic elements. They began as an independent group, self-producing their music before signing with Spinefarm Music Group in 2020. Their debut album, -!-, was released in 2021, followed by Fission in 2024. After gaining traction in Mexico through tours with Sputnik, they broke into the U.S. scene, opening for artists like Badflower and Andrés in 2019. Their hit singles include ".CoDA." and "Running In Circles." The band is also known for producing their own music videos, showcasing their hands-on, creative approach to their art.
