Special Request is one of the various aliases used by British artist Paul Woolford. The project was largely inspired by various underground dance music forms of the UK and debuted in 2013 with the EP Hardcore. That same year, Special Request released its first full-length record Soul Music, which had a more downtempo sound. A number of albums, EPs and singles have been released by the project since then. Some of his most popular tracks include "Brainstorm," "Amnesia," "Panaflex Sunrise," "Hackney Parrot" and "Shepperton Moon Landing."
