About
Copenhagen-based five-piece VETO evidently grew up listening to American indie band The Faint, as VETO's electropop is rife with The Faint-esque darkwave and ominous dance beats. First conceived in 2004, the Danish band sings in perfect English and dresses like a band that could be from Brooklyn. Despite these evidently American influences, VETO has garnered an impressive fan base in its native country, won "Best New Act" at the Danish Music Awards and landed a record deal with the Danish branch of Sony Music.
