The Two Star Symphony is a contemporary classical string ensemble from Houston, Texas that is becoming more and more known for its strikingly original compositions across a wide range of musical genres and styles. The ensemble's music strives for relaying a series of disparate images to its audience, from the hiss of a black cat to a drunken pirate walking the plank, and in such a way that befits the mood of the music without sounding too gimmicky. Despite the ensemble's rather conservative facade, it is exactly the musician's youthfully experimental drive that keeps the Two Star Symphony relevant in a world of pop, rock and not much else in between.
