Torpedo Boyz is an electronic music duo with roots in both Berlin and Tokyo that has achieved widespread recognition for their special blend of funky breakbeat electro placed in a lounge music setting. Tapped by numerous film and television producers for soundtrack contributions, Torpedo Boyz can definitely be called one of the busiest electronic music acts on the independent scene. Torpedo Boyz has released several albums since forming in 2004, with the band's 2007 release Headache Music being considered by many to be the duo's magnum opus, earning them the coveted Independent Music Award for Best Dance/Electronica Album in 2008.
