Tigers That Talked is a folk rock quartet from Leeds, United Kingdom that rose to prominence as a result of diligently producing and releasing their own DIY EPs over the internet. The quartet follows a songwriting method that focuses on creating music that arouses intense emotions, and does so in a way that sounds particularly original, despite the genre's rather hackneyed status in the world of independent music. Tigers That Talked released its debut album The Merchant in 2010 following the release of several critically acclaimed singles throughout 2009 that virtually ensured the band's success as a bona-fide musical act.
