Therapies Son is the solo indie pop project of Alex Jacob, based in Van Nuys, California. Jacob's initial foray into music involved providing music to friends over his Myspace, and was immediately picked up by independent music connoisseurs and ultimately, a record label. Since the Thearapies Son project officially began in 2010, the 19 year old musical wunderkind is already seeing acclaim from independent music blogs, many of whom find his soft, almost disaffected brand of pop surprisingly vital and layered in emotional depth.
