The great-granddaughter of F. Scott Fitzgerald, Blake Hazard already had a claim to fame when she met John Dragonetti, who she later formed The Submarines with and married. The two musicians share songwriting roles, but tend to only write songs about each other, thus creating love ballads in the guise of sunshine pop songs. These songs have found a fair amount of popularity through landing spots on primetime television programs, films and most notably a series of iPhone commercials.
