The Black Atlantic is a four-piece indie pop band from the Netherlands that was formed in 2006 around singer/songwriter Geert van der Veld. The Black Atlantic's music tends to be played acoustically with a good deal of vocal harmonies, too. The band's debut album, Reverence for Fallen Trees, was released in 2009.
