The Apache Relay is a bluegrass-influenced indie rock outfit from Nashville, Tennessee. Primarily the project of front-man and songwriter Michael Ford, Jr, the members of The Apache Relay met in a college dormitory and soon began making waves with riotous live show. The four-piece's debut album, 1988, was released later than the title might suggest, in 2009.
