Sweaters is an indie pop rock quartet from Los Angeles that puts together a musical show that many believe to be a perfect representation of "California pop." With a sound and presence on stage that harks back to the pop rock icons of the late 60s and early 70s, Sweaters has brought back a decent amount of attention and respect to the cleaner and sunnier aspects of pop music. However, despite the band's celebration of pop music's past through its music, there is still something decidedly forward-moving about it, leading many to believe that Sweaters could end up being the "last great pop band."
