The Steve Adamyk Band is an indie garage rock band from Ottawa, Canada that came about as the evolution of a solo project led by the band's founder, Steve Adamyk. Having completed a successful run as a member of the Million Dollar Marxists and the Sedatives, Steve Adamyk was able to pull together some friends in order to try out some of the work he had written while he was a member of the band. So far, the Steve Adamyk Band has released a self-titled debut album that critics feel perfectly exemplifies Adamyk's talents in performing engaging garage rock mixed with a bit of punk and power pop that keeps audiences listening while they're on their feet.
