By creating shoddily-produced power pop with a distinct garage rock tinge, the Texas-based group Something Fierce has carved out an interesting sonic niche for itself, releasing an impressive amount of studio material in a short amount of time and proving itself as an interesting band to follow. Founded in 2005, Something Fierce fills its songs with catchy vocals as well as punk-inspired guitar riffing. And while these two elements might cause some people to question the band's instrumental and songwriting ability, there's no denying the infectious tunes and memorable choruses that fill the group's tunes.
