About
The San Francisco-based indie pop group Social Studies is aptly named. Though it might be hard to discern lyrics through the affable instrumentals, vocalist Natalia Rogovin tends to sing about historical periods and how those particular times relate to modern life with shared human experiences. Founded in 2005, Social Studies has managed to grow into a noted fixture of the multifaceted Bay Area music scene with its 1960-inspired indie pop sound. The band released its debut album Developer, in 2012.
