Rey Pila is the alter ego of Mexican musician Diego. After being a member of the band Los Dynamite, Diego decided to create Rey Pila as an outlet for his own songs. His first album was self-titled and released in 2009. It featured songs that displayed a wide range of influences, from psychedelic rock to electronica.
