Qayaas hails from Pakistan, and the term Qayaas translated into English means "to deliberate." The source of the band's name comes from each of the members own unique creativity, and the deliberation that goes on when it comes to create their music. With their music so obviously important to them, the members of Qayaas have crafted songs and lyrics that tell the stories and facets of life's journeys, and most of it fits into alternative-rock or even sometimes progressive rock.
